Karl decided to bring out his own range of real custom handmade tattoomachines a few years ago after the many years of sharing knowledge and experience with master tattoo machine builders like Kevin Shercliff and Micky Bee. Untill this day he is still sharing knowledge with some of the best tattoo machine builders worldwide to bring his machines to what they are now. Premium Irons are all 100% hand made and tested by Karl himself. No work on the machines is outsourced like many other so called 'handmade' tattoo machines. All machine parts (except some screws) are made in his own workshop, from washers to binders and from frames to the quality coils that are old fashioned hand wound, with the best electrical grade copper. Being unique is what makes Premium Irons stand out from other tattoo machines and is what his customers praise him for.Each machine is unique in its finish where no costs are saved to get the best result and make each of his machines a daily workhorse. Being a tattoo artist himself for over 15 years, he knows how important it is to be able to rely on your equipment and his eye for detail also shows in his tattoo machines. Due to his busy schedule, there's a waiting list of a month after you placed and order to get one of his custom tattoo machines. Occasionally he works on a new personal project and those machines will be available for purchase on this website. All Premium Irons are numbered with a certificate of authenticity and come in a machine bag to keep them safe all the time. Karl has a strict policy and does not want his tattoo machines to get into the hands of scratchers, so don't be offended if we ask some reference of tattoos you've done.
